Linkafella is a product of Linkafella Private Limited (“Linkafella”, “we”, “us”), a company based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We provide Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) analytics that measure how often AI answer engines cite a website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. • •Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you sign up.
• •Usage data: the domains you scan, the prompts and keywords you choose to track, and the reports you generate.
• •Connected data (optional): if you connect Google Search Console, we access read-only search performance data (clicks, impressions, position) for sites you have verified.
• •Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and aggregate analytics about how you use the site.
• •Communications: messages you send us and your email-alert preferences.

• •Provide and operate the service — run scans, compute your GA Score, and show your results.
• •Send the email alerts and weekly digests you opt into (you can turn these off anytime).
• •Process payments and manage your subscription.
• •Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits.
• •Improve our product and understand aggregate usage trends.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as your theme. We use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data.

We rely on trusted providers to run Linkafella, and share only what each needs to do its job:

• •Hosting & analytics: Vercel.
• •Database: Supabase.
• •AI scan engines: when you run a scan, the search queries (and the target domain) are sent to providers such as OpenRouter (which routes to AI models including Perplexity, OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI), Google Gemini, Serper (Google Search) and OpenPageRank.
• •Email delivery: Resend.
• •Payments: Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record) and, where applicable, Razorpay. We never see or store your full card details.
• •Google: Search Console (only if you connect it) and Google APIs.

If you connect Google Search Console, Linkafella's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request read-only access, use the data solely to show your traffic and improve your Traffic Resonance score, never sell it, and never use it for advertising. You can disconnect at any time from your profile, and revoke access in your Google Account security settings.

We keep your account and scan data while your account is active. Cached scan results are retained so re-viewing a domain doesn't trigger a new paid scan. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@linkafella.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to it.

Linkafella is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We operate from Bangalore, Karnataka, India and use providers that may process data in other countries. By using Linkafella you consent to your information being processed where we and our providers operate.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
